Over 7,700 sign petition seeking justice for Nigerian killed in Ireland No fewer than 7,707 persons have signed a petition seeking justice for a 27-year-old Nigerian, Mr George Nkencho, who was killed by police in Ireland.
Within the space of one week 22 petitions has been sent by the citizens to the Ekiti Judicial panel of injury who are in charge of probing alleged cases of rights violations and police brutality. The Chairman of the panel, Justice Cornelius Akintayo, made the disclosure on Thursday in Ado Ekiti at the commencement of hearing of the petitions.
