The Dangote Group has completed Nigeria’s longest rigid pavement located in Kogi State. It is the first of its kind, top engineers say.
World Bank, through Rural Access and Mobility Project, (RAMP-2) says it has completed construction of 330km out of 385.419km rural road in Enugu state.
“with N150 billion, the state roads will be in order. Most of the roads in the state are suffering because of the lack of enough money to put them in order”, the State Commissioner for Works, Engr said.
The Federal Government, on Thursday, says it targets the completion of some priority road projects especially those within the routes A1-A9 in the 2021 budget. The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola stated this during the 2021 budget defence of his ministry before the House Committee on Works, in Abuja, on Thursday.
The Imo state government has ordered it’s road contractors to refund ₦1.4bn back to the state due to the fact that the state is dissatisfied with pace of the work on the Nekede/Ihiagwa/Federal University of Technology (FUTO) high way in Owerri west local council.
