The Lagos State Government has announced that all public and private schools below tertiary level in Lagos State remain closed indefinitely due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The National examination council (NECO) has suspended the on-going senior secondary school certificate examination (SSCE) indefinitely.
Despite agreement on the payment pattern of salary areas and a total sum of ₦40bn; ₦30bn to be paid on or before November 6 while the remaining ₦10m will be paid in May 2021 and February 2022 with additional funding for revitalization of public Universities as well as funding for university systems. The two parties came to disagreement on the means of payment.
