It’s embarrassing to see Salah break my champions league record – Gerrard

Steven Gerrard has predicted Mohamed Salah to go on and embarrass his Champions League goal record at Liverpool.

On Tuesday, Salah scored Liverpool’s third in their 5-0 rout of Atalanta. It was the 28-year-old’s ninth of the season, 103rd of his Liverpool career and his 21st Champions League goal. The strike means, in just three-and-a-half seasons, Salah has already matched the former Reds captain’s tally. Gerrard’s 21 goals is the club record and it seems as though Salah will now go on to demolish it. But this is something the Rangers boss is happy to see.
