Hauwa woke and went to clean up in the bathroom.
She couldn’t believe that she had slept Joe. Joe woke too and looked at her backside as she brushed her teeth. He walked up to her and pressed himself to her which was weird to her now.
He kissed her neck, “Good morning Hauwa, last night was fun”, he said and wore a shirt and shorts.
He rushed to the market to buy things for stew and when he got back Hauwa had just finished bathing.
Joe also cleaned up while Hauwa sat still not too comfortable.
“I like the way you fvck, with your innocent face” Joe said breaking the ice and Hauwa surprisingly found herself looking down now.
“Stay the rest of the day with me, I’ll cook, we will go out, I’ll give my shirt to wear anything you want Hauwa” Joe added.
Hauwa was looking at him and she saw he meant every word. She was used to being wanted. It felt good.
Regaining her composure, Hauwa said wittingly, “my toto don fry your brain abi? Is it that sweet?”.
Joe burst out laughing as he drew her close and they shared a kiss which lasted quite a while before the smell of burning rice jolted them back to earth.
“What about Rita?. What happens to her?” Hauwa asked.
Joe who was slicing some onions pretended not to hear her. He was not thinking of Rita right now. He was not thinking of anyone.
“Joe! Answer me”
“Rita and I will have to talk”
“I don’t understand. You want to tell her you fvcked her neighbor?”
“Emm…. Well she would find out anyways”
” How?”
“Well news like this travels fast, she is quite friendly with my neighbor, Shola”
“So Shola would tell her then and she will attack me”, Hauwa said.
“Shola is her friend because they do ‘runz’ together”, Joe said as he continued cooking calmly.
“You’re okay with her doing runz? What type of boyfriend are you?”
“I am not okay with it. I don’t know for a fact but any girl that close to Shola is a girl doing runz” Joe said finally, closing the pot on the fire.
