Speaker of the Niger state House of Assembly has tested positive for COVID-19.

The speaker of the Niger state House of Assembly, Barrister Bawa Wuse has contracted coronavirus.
Wuse has gone into isolation alongside the clerk of the Assembly who also tested positive for the deadly virus.

The speaker’s result is coming a month after the Niger state governor confirmed his COVID-19 result.
A report by Newsmen indicates that Barrister Bawa Wuse, the speaker of the Niger state House of Assembly, has tested positive for COVID-19.

It was gathered that Wuse along with the House clerk, Alhaji Mohammed Kagara, and some members of the Assembly contracted the deadly virus.

The speaker’s result is following a routine check after a female member of the House, was said to have tested positive for the virus..
The two principal officers have since gone into isolation and are responding well to treatment.
