Abubakar Malami (SAN), the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, has said that no fewer than three-thousand owners of small and medium scale businesses in Kebbi State would receive Federal Government’s post COVID-19 grants in order to enhance their business activities.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caucus in the House of Representatives has stated that it will drag the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, to court over the invitation of President Muhammadu Buhari.The PDP Rep caucus said it will challenge the position of Malami that the national assembly lacks powers to invite Buhari to brief it on security matters.
Abubakar Malami (SAN), the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, has advised Nigerian youths to be law-abiding at all times. Malami’s comment was contained in a statement on Sunday by Umar Gwandu, his spokesman.
A report by the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami has stated that 33 operatives of the now-disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) indicted in 2019 by a presidential investigative panel can’t be prosecuted. Explaining why the former SARS operatives can’t face prosecution, the report observed that the cases brought against the ex-operatives do not meet standards for it to proceed to the prosecution stage as no proper investigation was conducted.
