The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has issued a 72-hour ultimatum to the government to secure the release of the 39 students abducted from the College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka, Kaduna.
Three primary school pupils abducted a few hours ago when bandits stormed the UBE primary school at Rama in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State have escaped.
Bandits have abducted students and teachers from UBE Primary School in Rama, a village located about five kilometers from Birnin Gwari town in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of the State.
Seven people have been killed in fresh attacks by bandits on communities in three LGAs of Kaduna state. Samuel Aruwan, the state commissioner for internal security and home affairs, who confirmed the incident, said seven other people were injured, while some houses were burnt and cattle rustled.
