Man convicted to court for stealing – EFCC

The Maiduguri Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, January 7, 2021 secured conviction of one Mustapha Kyari before Justice Umaru Fadawu of Borno State High Court, Maiduguri on one count charge which bordered on dishonesty and stealing.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday December 23, 2020, arraigned two brothers, Eze Okwuchukwu Olisaebuka and Eze Nnadozie Onyeka and their respective companies -Berlus Resources Ltd and DYM Integrated Service Limited, before Justice Binta Mohammed of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Maitama, Abuja on two separate charges bordering on fraud.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is to approach the Supreme Court to set aside Wednesday December 16 decision of the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal quashing the conviction of Olisa Metuh, former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, and his company, Destra Investment Limited.
