EXCLUSIVE: Establishment of Infrastructural company for the purpose of Infrastructural investment has been approved by the president.

President Buhari has approved the establishment of an Infrastructure Company, wholly focused on critical infrastructural investments in Nigeria. This InfraCo will raise funding from Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), pension funds and local & foreign private sector development financiers.

African countries to be visited by UN over the corona virus pandemic.

A delegation of the United Nations led by Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, is visiting Nigeria and three other West African countries – Niger, Sierra Leone, and Ghana to discuss with the governments and other stakeholders on strategies to rebuild after the devastations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. During the visit scheduled for November 8 to 11, 2020, the delegation would meet with President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
