16 deaths, 226 road crashes in Akwa Ibom – FRSC
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Akwa Ibom State said it has recorded a total of 226 road crashes and 16 deaths in 2020. FRSC Sector Commander, Mr Oga Ochi, stated this yesterday in Uyo during the flag-off of 2020 African Road Safety Day/World Day of Remembrance of Road Traffic Victims. He attributed the deaths to human factor and urged road users to be disciplined while driving.
