Court refuses to restrain Adamu from ‘parading’ self as IGP

The federal high court in Abuja has dismissed a suit seeking to restrain Mohammed Adamu from “parading” himself as the inspector-general of police (IGP).

2,600 rounds of ammunition and 100 AK-47 are missing, alledgely stolen during the #Endsars protest.

A commission of inquiry set up by Inspector-General Mohammed Adamu to investigate damage to the Nigerian police during the EndSars protest says nearly 100 Ak-47 rifles were stolen. The chairman of the 10-member committee, CP Yaro Abutu, told the source on Saturday that in addition to the firearms, 2,600 rounds of ammunition were also stolen during the violence that erupted as a result of the protests.
